The Sukanen Ship Museum is hosting its 56th annual Threshing Bee just south of Moose Jaw on September 6 and 7. Evan Davis says visitors can expect “demonstrations of plowing, threshing, rope making, and blacksmithing. There’s a vintage tractor pull both days, parades… as well as a ton of other things going on on the grounds.”

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6–12, or $16 for a two-day pass. “There are a limited number of unserviced RV camping spots on the ground,” Davis adds.

Come hungry and bring cash: “There’s a pancake breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 each day, and then there are concessions on the grounds. The concessions are cash only, as is the breakfast.”

For more info, call 306-693-7315 or visit the museum’s website as Country 100's Avery LeBlanc chatted with Davis about the Threshing Bee.
