It's been 120 years since Alberta first became a province.

To celebrate Alberta Day (Sept. 1), the Town of Strathmore put on an afternoon of activities at Kinsmen Park, free for all residents to enjoy.

There were plenty of attractions at the event, including live music, train rides, bounce castles, a petting zoo, and more.

The Strathmore Farmers' Market also attended the event, selling a variety of artisan goods to those attending.

The Alberta Day celebrations ran from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
