Open House for White Heather Pipe Band

Moose Jaw's White Heather Pipe Band is looking for new recruits! 

Long-time, veteran bagpiper Michelle Carline started attracting youngsters to the new band a few years ago and her group is growing and having a lot of fun while they continue to improve.

The open house is Monday September 8th, 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the library at Ecole Palliser Heights School. There is no cost for the kids at the open house.

Youth ages 8 and up are welcome and will have the opportunity to try chanters and drum pads.

We talked to Michelle about the band, the rewards and the opportunities that being a part of a pipe band can bring.
