It's time for another Made in Manitoba, and we have yet another artist joining us for the first time. Zack Wiebe farms north of Morden, and over the last couple years, has been making big waves on social media and the music industry.

On stage he's known as Zackery, and his journey began about three years ago with the release of his breakthrough single. That's led to the release of his debut album "Fragments".The six songs included are a collection of personal tracks written over the course of several life changes, and even though Zackery describes them as feeling "fragmented" or "scattered", their sound has a unified theme of being downtempo and perhaps melancholy at times.

He didn’t always see music as a career path. He studied agriculture at the University of Manitoba, and works full-time on the family farm, but eventually the creative itch returned, and that's led Zackery to joining us.

His music, and conversation with Jayme Giesbrecht, this weekend on Made in Manitoba.
