Near-zero visibility prompts Fog Advisory

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Fog Advisory for the region.

The advisory began just after 5 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 5) due to dense fog bringing near-zero visibility to the area.

"Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero," wrote the organization. "Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations."

The fog is expected to leave the area later in the morning.
