Update - 8:30 a.m.:

Environment and Climate Change Canada is warning people to take precautions with the heavy fog.

Crawford Luke, meteorologist for Environment and Climate Change Canada, urges people to slow down while on roads covered by fog.

"We've seen a number of car accidents over the years related to fog," said Luke. "So definitely not something you want to play around with. Just take your time, slow down, and get to where you're going safely."

The fog is rolling into the southwest of Saskatchewan from further east and will hopefully clear up later in the morning.

Currently, there is no fog advisory for the region, but Luke hasn't ruled that possibility out.

Original Story - 7:44 a.m.:
