Matiowski Farmers' Market celebrates 17th summer

The Matiowski Farmers' Market kicks off its 17th season when it opens on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

"By the first week of July, we will have over 100 vendors.  That is seasonal, 10 week and rotating casual vendors, but for the month of June, we'll start  in the 70's and we will grow as the season progresses," said market co-ordinator Helena Devins.

The market takes place Wednesdays at the Whitecap Pavilion on the Kenora Harbourfront and is open from 8:30am to 2:00pm.  Admission is free.

The Matiowski Farmers' Market began in 2005, and is now one of the largest weekly events across northwestern Ontario. Vendors from Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba gather each week to sell homemade and homegrown products.
