The Royal Winnipeg Ballet celebrates the legacy of outgoing artistic director André Lewis throughout their upcoming season.

Accepted into the professional division in 1975, Lewis joined the company four years later and danced for a decade before moving to a management role. He became RWB's artistic director in 1996, and in 2018 was also appointed chief executive officer of the company.

The "carefully curated" 2023/24 season is a testament to Lewis' bold vision and the culmination of his experience.

It opens with the Canadian premiere of Snow White (September 27-October 1) and concludes with a world premiere by RWB's new Choreographer-in-Residence, Cameron Frazer-Monroe, as well as the return of Carmina Burana (April 24-28).

Audiences can also look forward to the perennial hit Nutcracker (December 21-30) as well as a ballet close to Lewis' heart, Romeo and Juliet (February 14-18).

The RWB's Professional Division is featured in two productions: Spotlight (May 25-27) and On The Edge (June 7-9).
