“You’re outside, a drink in hand, chatting with your neighbor between rounds. It’s a really great way to kick off all the summer events that are coming up.”

Brenda Levesque is the Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator for Hanover Ag, and she’s thrilled to share about their upcoming event for bull riding fans.

“Our Spring Twist Off Bull Riding Event! This Bull Riders Canada-sanctioned event will be featuring all the big names in the Canadian bull riding circuit, produced by Crossfire Bull Riding,” Levesque says. “It’s a great show. They’ve got their big screen, fireworks, all kinds of stuff. It’s great entertainment for the whole family- from kids to grandma and grandpa.”

The Hanover Agricultural Society has hosted this event for years, and its success is greatly due to the overwhelmingly positive response from the community.

Dozens of riders have signed up to ride, and new this year is the Real Fan Of The Night Belt Buckle Giveaway.

“Crossfire’s going to be giving out an actual bull riding belt buckle to one lucky audience member,” Levesque shares. “They’ll pick out who they think is the fan of the night, and they’ll get their very own belt buckle. I’ve seen it- it’s beautiful.”

So cheer loud, and cheer proud!

Beyond bull riding, Levesque says the Hanover Ag Society has added a few more attractions to the night’s events.

“We’ll have music playing, and the beer gardens will stay open a bit after,” she lists. “We also have the Grunthal Lumber Grill and canteen, selling delicious fries, hamburgers, farmer sausage patties- phenomenal food cooked by our very own kitchen manager, who does an amazing job.”

“Trans Canada Brewing Co. is our exclusive beer this year, and they’ll be serving, too.” Levesque continues, “We will also have a special flavor, made with local ingredients, as well as the flavored option.”

VIP tables will be available for superfans, positioned up close to the action and featuring food and beverages brought directly to the table.

The Hanover Ag Society is also on the lookout for helpful individuals to help keep the event running smoothly. Volunteer opportunities include keeping the grounds clean, 50-50 sales, working the front gate, sell merch, or even help out backstage.

The Spring Twist Off Bull Riding Event happens June 2nd at 7:00 pm at the Hanover Ag Exhibition Park. Admission is $30, and children five and under get in free. To purchase tickets or to register to volunteer, visit www.hanoverag.com.
