MOOSE JAW, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA, April 22, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dr. Dayan Goodenowe, biochemist and healthcare innovator, today unveiled a $100 million commitment to launch a first‑of‑its‑kind community health initiative in Moose Jaw SK Canada.

It was a fantastic showing for Infinity Athletics at the All-Star World Championship in Orlando, Florida.

The competition was held at Orange County Convention Centre, with over 20,000 athletes and just under 100,000 spectators participating and taking in world-class cheer.

In the youth level 2 division, the Invaders, consisting of 14 athletes, faced 65 teams. The team had a hit zero run (meaning they had no deductions), to finish 23rd in the world. The team scored 92.3 and was only .5 away from making it to the finals!

Did the other team even touch the puck? That's the question you'd be forgiven for asking if you only saw the scoresheet and weren't attending the bedlam that was the third and deciding game of the ACAC semifinals between the Briercrest Clippers and the Concordia Thunder as Briercrest controlled the game and overcame the heroics of Thunder goaltender Ashton Billesberger en route to a 4-1 victory.

SHSAA SOCCER playoffs

Both the SCCHS Ardens and Colts were on the road at regional playoffs this weekend.  Finishing in the top two would earn them a right to attend SHSAA provincials on October 25/26.

The Colts played in the SHSAA regional playoffs in Moose Jaw.  They defeated Moose Jaw Peacock (7-3) in their first game advancing them to the regional final.  The Colts lost a heartbreaker on a late goal to Yorkton Regional (3-2).   SCCHS will advance to the SHSAA provincial championship in Saskatoon as the south rural #2 seed.
