Multi-Vehicle collision slows traffic on QEII
A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 2 northbound near Township Road 310 just south of the Didsbury overpass is causing delays.
Witnesses say it looks like a lorry attempted to cross the highway in this morning's heavy fog when several vehicles crashed into its side.
The slow lane remains clear, but drivers are urged to reduce speed and use caution in the area. Crews are on the scene.
There is no word yet on injuries or when the scene will be fully cleared.

Early this morning at approximately 4:50 a.m., Airdrie RCMP received a report of a fire impacting multiple residential structures at the corner of McCulloch Crescent and Madison Drive in Irricana.
The Airdrie RCMP along with EMS and fire services from Irricana, Rocky View County, Crossfield and Airdrie responded to assist in extinguishing the blaze.
Many emergency service vehicles and personnel remain on scene. No serious injuries are reported at this time. The fire has now been extinguished.

Update: Emergency crews responding to collision near Crossfield industrial area
A previous collision near Crossfield has been cleared.
Earlier this morning, multiple emergency crews were reported responding to what appeared to be a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 2A near the entrance to the Crossfield Industrial area at McCool Crescent.
According to witness reports, the vehicle involved was on its side, and the local fire department was managing the situation. Witnesses also reported seeing emergency vehicles heading north from Airdrie toward the site.
There was no confirmed information yet regarding injuries or the cause of the crash.
