Weyburn wind farm blows in new era of renewable energy for Saskatchewan
A new renewable wind energy project is set to be built southeast of Weyburn. Up to one hundred million dollars in loan guarantees will be provided by the Saskatchewan Indigenous Investment Finance Corporation (SIIFC).
Enbridge Inc has partnered with six Indigenous and Metis partners to take on this project, SaskPower is working with them to advance the project through a power purchase agreement.

Class of 2024 takes center stage in Weyburn's graduation extravaganza
The Weyburn Comprehensive School is kicking off their 2024 graduation celebration this Saturday, June 15th. Festivities begin at 10:30 AM with a ceremony held at Crescent Point Place.
From there they move into the grad parade at 2:30. The parade will begin at Crescent Point Place and continue along Prairie Avenue; from there they will head east to 7th Street and south to Bison Avenue before heading back to the fairgrounds.
