This year we have seen a notable shift in Canada’s economic landscape. Inflation rates, which were soaring around 5.1% to even 6.7% in 2022 alone, have significantly decreased, reaching 2.5% this past July. A municipality in southern Manitoba has found a new solution for improving rural road building. 

The Rural Municipality of Stanley is located in the Pembina Valley, making up land surrounding Winkler and Morden. Public Works Supervisor Ken Thiessen says they have been implementing a relatively new process on one of their roads.
