Tasha Layton announces first-ever live worship album

Christian recording artist and author Tasha Layton is preparing to release her first-ever live worship album. 

Worship Through It Live was recorded at Hope UC in Thompson's Station, Tennessee and was captured during an honest night of raw worship with friends just 10  days after Layton and her team came up with the idea to do the live recording.

Guinness World Record holder Arthur Blessitt dies at age 84

A famous evangelist who carried a 12-foot cross on all seven continents has died at the age of 84. 

Arthur Blessitt who earned the Guinness World Record for longest pilgrimage passed away on January 14, 2025 according to a statement on his Facebook page. The post was written in the first person and shared just before 1:30 p.m.

Blessitt is survived by his wife Denise, seven children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Tim Tebow and wife announce they're expecting first baby

Outspoken Christian and former NFL player Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh have announced that they are expecting their first baby. 

Tebow and his wife, former Miss Universe, married in January 2020. 

Demi-Leigh shared a touching video of their announcement on X (formerly Twitter) and received over a million likes within the first two hours. 

Olympic kitesurfer credits God for placing him in the right place at the right time

An Olympic kitesurfer is crediting God for placing him in the right place at the right time. 

Bruno Lobo was out training and testing new equipment. It was cloudy and the wind conditions were not the best but he decided to test his new support anyway.

While out on the water, Lobo heard a sudden cry for help. He looked up to find a woman who was drowning.

"I promptly approached her with the kite, I tried to calm her down and asked her to climb on my back, she was very tired and without strength," said Lobo in a post on Instagram.

California residents flood Canadian prayer line

A Canadian ministry has become a place of comfort for California residents struggling to figure out what to do as wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles.

California residents have been flooding the phone lines of Crossroads Prayer Centre, based in Burlington, Ontario looking for spiritual comfort.

"In times of crisis, faith knows no borders," says Cheryl Weber, Director of Crossroads Cares in a press release. "Our Prayer Partners are providing crucial emotional and spiritual support to people who have lost everything."

Former Newsboys guitarist's daughter to compete on The Voice

Music runs in the family of the former guitarist of the Newsboys.

Bryan Olesen performed during Season 25 of The Voice, blowing away judges. 

Olesen sang One Republic's "Love Runs Out" during the blind audition and three of the four judges hit their buttons.

Following the critiques, the judges invited Olesen's daughter, Jadyn, to the stage. They were shocked to hear she was also a talented singer. They encouraged the pair to sing a quick duet and their performance shocked the judges. 

'He was a man of God': Grand Ole Opry and country legend dies at 94

Grand Ole Opry and country music legend, Buck White has died. 

White, who is best known for founding the Whites, a band made up of himself and his two daughters, Sharon and Cheryl, died Monday morning. 

"The Lord answered our prayers and took our daddy, Buck White, home peacefully this morning at 8:00 a.m.," said his daughters in a post on social media. "We are so thankful for his 94 years on this earth."
