The family of Nihseem Koda Wilson, age six months, of Swift Current, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

A Private Family Funeral Service was held at the Swift Current Funeral Home Chapel. The obituary and service card are posted on Nihseem’s obituary page on the funeral home website.

In memory of Nihseem Wilson, donations made to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Darleen (nee Hodgins) Heidebrecht passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Kyle Health Centre, Kyle, SK.

Darleen Arletta Heidebrecht was born June 24, 1940 to Milt & Vera Hodgins in Tuberose, SK. On June 10, 1960 she married Marvin Elvin Heidebrecht of Rush Lake, SK.

The family of Gerald “Gerry” Salter, age 81, of Swift Current are saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current.

The Funeral Service for Gerry Salter will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Swift Current with Rev. Stephen Dowdeswell officiating. The service is being live-streamed and the link will be posted on the funeral home website. The service is also being recorded and will be posted on the funeral home website as soon as possible. 

The Funeral Service for Mr. Harvey Krein of Leader and formerly of Swift Current will take place on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church in Swift Current with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating.

The Interment Service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current.

The family of Mary Friesen of Swift Current are saddened to announce her passing on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the age of 94 — four days short of her 95th birthday.

An amazing mother of six children who endured many obstacles in her life but always, always remained true to her values.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of meeting her.

As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no formal services.

The Interment Service for Mrs. Anna Hoofdakker will take place from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.

The Graveside Service for Susan Edwards of Swift Current, formerly of Herbert, will take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:00 am from the Herbert Cemetery in Herbert, SK with Pastor Donovan Epp officiating. Those who require seating for the service are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the Graveside Service at the New Horizons Senior Centre in Herbert.

The Funeral Service for Susan Wiebe will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Swift Current Funeral Home Chapel in Swift Current with Pastor Alex Allan officiating. The service will be recorded and posted on the funeral home website as soon as possible.

The Public Interment Service for Ms. Susan Wiebe will take place from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.

It is with great sadness that the family of Cameron Driedger, age 90, of Swift Current and formerly of Kelowna announce his passing in the early morning hours of Monday, August 15, 2022 at Cypress House, Swift Current, SK. Cameron will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his family and all who knew him.

There will be no formal funeral services, a private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The slideshow and service card will be posted on the funeral home website pending approval from the family.

Sharon Waite, age 78, of Swift Current and formerly of Pennant passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 after a brief illness at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK.

At Sharon’s request there will be no formal funeral services and her final resting place will be in Minburn, AB.

In memory of Sharon Waite and for those wishing, donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
