The Funeral Service for Mr. Abram “Abe” Giesbrecht of Swift Current will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Community Baptist Church in Swift Current with Rev. Joell Haugan officiating.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Friday, March 31, 2023 from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Swift Current Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Bohdan Ciona of Swift Current will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the First United Church in Swift Current with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating.

The service is being live streamed and the link is available on the funeral home website.

The Interment Service will take place immediately following the funeral service at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current.

There will be a luncheon in the Coast Hotel banquet room following the interment.

The Funeral Service for John L. Friesen of Swift Current will take place on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 am from Trailview Alliance Church in Swift Current with Pastor Paul Little officiating. There will be luncheon immediately following the service.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Swift Current Funeral Home.

The Interment Service for Mr. John Friesen will take place following the luncheon from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Jean Anderson of Swift Current and formerly of Rosetown will take place on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm from the Bridgeway Community Church in Swift Current with Pastor Bob Cappelle officiating. The service is being recorded and will be posted on the funeral home website as soon as possible.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the service.

The Private Family Interment Service for Jean Anderson will take place at the Rosetown Cemetery, Rosetown, SK.

A Celebration of Life for Jerry Blanke of Stewart Valley will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Success Community Hall, Success, SK. There will be a short program, including a time to share memories of Jerry, followed by a luncheon.

Flowers are respectfully declined, in lieu of flower and in memory of Jerry Blanke, donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion #60 - Souris, MB (74 1st St S, Souris, MB, R0K 2C0) and the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.

The family of Scott McVicar, age 28, of Swift Current are saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

The Graveside Service for Jean Bowditch, age 103, of Swift Current will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11:00 am from Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current. There will be luncheon at the K-Motel (Highway 1 West, Swift Current) immediately following the service.

In memory of Jean Bowditch, donations made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and Meadows Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.

Sarah McDonald, age 57, of Swift Current passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 surrounded by her family at Clover House, Swift Current, SK.

The Celebration of Life for Sarah McDonald will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Swift Current Comprehensive High School cafeteria with John Peifer officiating. The service will be livestreamed and the link posted on the funeral home website and the recording will be posted as soon as possible.

There will be a luncheon following the service.

The family of Mr. Derwood Hermanson, age 81, of Swift Current and formerly of Stewart Valley are saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Meadows, Swift Current, SK.
