Laverne Palecek
Laverne Palecek (nee Illerbrun) was born in Gull Lake Saskatchewan on September 8th, 1928. On October 1st she passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. Laverne was the 2nd eldest of 7 children, losing her only sister as an infant and her mother when she was only 12. Mom lived in a home on the farm with 5 brothers which toughened her up; she was a great ball player and played daily while attending Thring School; she also won the best female athlete in track and field not only in her 12 and under division but also in the senior girl’s division the same year.

The internment will take place at the Schanzenfeld Cemetery in Wymark District, Saskatchewan, immediately following the service.
Jennie Theresa Fontaine (nee Grinder)
Jennie Theresa Fontaine (nee Grinder) was born on January 22, 1930 at the family farm in Neidpath, Saskatchewan. She attended Neidpath School, Swift Current Collegiate and Business College.
Jennie worked as a stenographer until her marriage to Victor Fontaine. They resided in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan for four years and then briefly in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. In 1955 they moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan where they raised their family. The past six years of her life were spent in long-term care in Cabri, Saskatchewan.
Ross Abraham Ginter
Ross Abraham Ginter was born on April 7, 1995 at the Swift Current Union Hospital.
Ross leaves to mourn him: daughter Raylen Burkey-Ginter; mother Cheryl Lyne (Travis Nerada); sister Sabre Lyne (Mike Davis) and children Zander, Asher, Declan, and Maci; brother Angus Ginter; brother Max Ginter; sister Ara Lyn (Nick Lawrence) and daughter Everlynn; grandmother Rachel Lyne; auntie Dawn Johnson (Brad Johnson); and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather’s Calvin Lyne and Abe Ginter; grandmother Pat (Baumann) Haley; aunt Tracy Ginter.
