Frederick (Fred) Walsh was born in Consort, Alberta on September 8, 1940.  He succumbed to ALS after a lengthy battle on December 9, 2022.  Fred grew up in small towns in Alberta.  Early working career was in the Oil and Gas Industry, then into mechanics.

The Funeral Mass for Mr. Bill Gehl of Cabri, Saskatchewan and formerly of Hodgeville, Saskatchewan, will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Thomas Mutavanattu officiating.

A prayer service will be held at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon David Hagel officiating.

The interment service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan.

The family of Mr. Walter Mys of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, are saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

At Walter’s request a private family service will be held.

Gordon Stephen Lightfoot, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Cypress Hills Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Gordon was born in Swift Current to Ted and Florence Lightfoot and grew up on the family farm near Burnham, Saskatchewan. He attended Ashley Park, Central, and W.A. Beatty schools in Swift Current. After completing a year of Engineering in Saskatoon, he decided that farming was his passion and returned home to farm with his father and his Uncle Doug. He eventually took over the farm and continued to farm until his death.

The celebration of life service for Ms. Vi Hadden of Cabri, Saskatchewan, will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Cabri Community Hall.
