After a long and courageous effort, Frank lost his battle with cancer on August 25, 2022 eight days shy of his 82nd birthday.  We are sad to see him go, yet so relieved he is now resting in peace.  We would like to extend our gratitude to the extensive team of carers from the Meadows and doctors that supported Frank with his 'end of life' journey.  Frank was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, the 5th of 6 children.  He attended the Marx School, a small country school just up the hill from the family farm in between the communities of McMahon and Braddock.  Born into farming, Frank and his

The funeral service for Mr. Cecil Schwartz of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Community Baptist Church with Reverend Joell Haugen officiating.

The interment service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The funeral service of Mr. Philip Bob Baskerville formerly of Hazlet, SK will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for the Hazlet Community Hall with Pastor John Schaufele officiating. The interment service will take place form Hazlet Mission Cemetery, Hazlet, SK. Donation’s in Bob’s memory may be made to the Hazlet Community Hall or to the Hazlet Library.

Garry Dale was born in Bassano, AB, and passed away 3 weeks short of his 79th birthday after a year-long battle with cancer. As a child he moved to Coderre, SK where he grew up on a farm 5 miles west of town. He moved to Moose Jaw, married Josie Fink in 1965, and became partners and then owner of Brydges Office Equipment until the late 80's. He then moved to Swift Current and worked for Office Outfitters, and then worked for the City of Swift Current taking care of rinks in the winter and mowing with his favourite tractor in summer. He just retired at the age of 78.

The family of Mr. Erwin Stark are saddened to announce his passing on Sunday August 14, 2022. At this time there is no memorial service planned.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Rick Harvey of Gull Lake, Saskatchewan will take place on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Gull Lake Community Hall with Casey Harvey officiating.

Wolstenholme, Philip Gordon age 65 of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on August 8, 2022 at the Cypress Regional Hospital.  Phil is survived by his wife Brenda; children: Trevor, Troy, and Leah; grandchildren: Logan, Bree, Marek, and Colton; sisters: Geraldine, Jackie, Patricia, and Shirley; brothers: Tom, and David; brother-in-law Kevin Thomas; sisters-in-law; Sandra Garraway, and Boni Thomas and their families; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.  He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Audrey Wolstenhol

The funeral service for Mrs. Jean Troendle of Swift Current, SK will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Pius Roman Catholic Church in Windthorst, SK with the interment service from Windthorst Cemetery. Donation’s in Jean’s memory may be made to the Swift Current Women’s Shelter.

The prayer service for Mr. Alexander Tumbach will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Swift Current, SK. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 with a lunch to follow from Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church.

The interment service for Mr. Alexander Tumbach will take place at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from Lancer Cemetery in Lancer, SK with a lunch to follow.
