ICYMI: Hawks capture Whitemud title

The Maple Creek Hawks are 2023-24 Whitemud Hockey League champions. The Hawks captured the title on home ice Saturday with an 8-3 win over the Gull Lake Greyhounds to take the best-of-five series 3-1.
Gull Lake won the opening game 10-3 on February 23 before the Hawks won the next three in a row, including a 5-4 win on Feb 24 and a 6-5 win on Feb 27, to take the series.
