Awake service for Bernadette will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Norman Community Club, Kenora, Ontario. A Traditional Funeral ceremony will be conducted by Mide'kiwenzie of Ki'eshgitabaaning on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Norman Community Club. Burial will follow at Lake of the Woods Cemetery.

Born in Camperville, MB, and youngest brother of his immediate family. Roland was raised from humble beginnings and his family remembers that “he was in no way little. He was very outspoken; educated; easy-going; strong; multilingual; competitive; as well as a loving grandfather and husband”.

Jeremarie leaves behind her mother Jean Bishop (nee Copenace) of Onigaming First Nations. She also leaves her sisters Lori M. Mainville (partner Mike), Patricia Mainville, Michelle Mainville, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, and relatives.
