SARAH JOAN KOCH (née: Dombowsky)

February 13th, 1987 - April 11th, 2025

It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts that we share the devasting news that Sarah Joan Koch aged 38 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, April 11th, 2025.  Sarah was born in Regina, SK but grew up in Hudson Bay, SK and at the age of 12, she moved back to Moose Jaw.

Peter B. Zacharias, 87, of Morris passed away Tuesday, April 15th at Red River Valley Lodge. He is survived by 1 daughter, 3 sons, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Margaretha, 1 sister, and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Peter B. Zacharias will be held Monday, April 21st at 2pm at Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial at Morris Cemetery.

Darrel A. Druck, late of Midale, SK passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

He was predeceased by parents, George and Edith Druck; father-in-law, Adolph Hoffart; sister, Linda Druck and mother of his children, Verna Druck.

Celebration of Life Service Announcement

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Saskatchewan Ave E, Portage la Prairie, MB, at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place at the St. Ambroise Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Ambroise, MB.

Mary passed away peacefully November 17, 2024, with loved ones by her side.

Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Elizabeth Turko

Peacefully, with family by her side, Gwen Turko, passed away in Monday, April 14, 2025 at her home in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 81 years.
Gwen was born is Silver Ridge, MB on September 5, 1943 at home on the family farm, and attended Naimandin School. She hated housework, so she was always out in the barn with her dad doing chores. She also worked for a school teacher, looking after her daughter for a couple of years.

Funeral Date: April 19, 2025 
Helen Klassen nee Friesen, 94, of Winkler passed away Monday, April 14th at Salem Home. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband David M. Klassen. 
The funeral service for Helen Klassen nee Friesen will be held Saturday, April 19th at 2pm at Winkler Reinland Mennonite Church with burial at Hochfeld Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler Friday, April 18th from 1 to 7pm. 
Donations may be made to Salem Foundation.

Peter Funk, 86, of Steinbach passed away Sunday, April 13th at Vita Hospital. He is survived by his wife Betty, 1 daughter, 3 sons, and their families.  
A memorial service for Peter Funk will be held Saturday, April 19th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with private family burial at Heritage Cemetery.

Doctor Dennis Giesbrecht, 88, of Steinbach passed away Monday, April 14th at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Rose, 4 daughters, 2 sons, 1 sister, 1 brother, 1 sister-in-law, and their families. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Doctor Dennis Giesbrecht will be held Monday, April 21st at 1pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Private family burial will take place.
