Douglas Danroth passed away May 4, 2025 at the age of 92.

Born on August 29, 1932 in Lucky Lake Sask. Doug was raised in nearby Demaine, where he attended school and developed a deep connection to his community and the land. A man committed to providing for his family Doug farmed, drove school bus, and after turning the land over to his kids dedicated his skills to the local Credit Unions in Demaine, Beechy and Swift Current, in his roles as manager & loans officer for 40 years.

Russell Neal Gillanders passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Swift Current Hospital on April 2, 2025.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kyle Elks & Community Hall with Reverend Margaret McKechney officiating. Interment to follow at the Clearwater Cemetery.
