Robert Stothers
March 2, 1969 - December 7, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Rob Stothers. Rob was a loving son, brother, uncle, father and grandfather. He passed comforted by his family on December 7th, 2024.

Rob is survived by his children Taylor (Megan) and Hope (Nicolas) and his beloved grandchildren Jaxson and Luca. Also mourning his loss are his mother Sandra, sister Kim, nieces Caitlyn (Eric), Ariana and Eisley, and his nephew Brady.

With grievous heart we announce the death of Owen James Nodrick on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the age of 38. 
 
Owen (son of Dennis and Patty Nodrick) was born in Portage la Prairie on March 4, 1986. He received his primary education in Portage la Prairie and graduated from Arthur Meighan High school in 2004. 
 

Adeline Laura Sulatyski Pressey
1933-2024

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Adeline Pressey, on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the age of 91.

Adeline was married to the love of her life, Orest Pressey, for 57 years.
She was the mother of four, Richard, Susan, Jonathan (Ala) and Nancy; Baba to Kelley, Vanessa and Emily; great Baba to Jenna and Jackson.

Adeline was born in the Kosiw district, near Dauphin, the youngest child of Stephan and Dora Sulatyski.

Walter “Wally” Bartsch
September 26, 1951 – November 29, 2024

On Friday, November 29, 2024, as the setting sun painted the sky, Walter Bartsch passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

39 FOREVER.

After a life well lived and an unfortunate illness, we announce the passing of Kelsey Dewis. She loved life and did her best to resist the inevitable.
Our "whiskey in a teacup" girl brought joy to a room with her infectious smile and genuine interest in others. Her kindness was completely instinctive and knew no bounds.
She shunned the spotlight but was extremely perceptive and witty.

Marie Annie Gemmell (nee Balch)

With sadness we announce Marie Gemmell passed away on Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at Portage General Hospital at the age of 82 years.

With sadness we announce the passing of Ernest “Ernie” Lasson at the Health Sciences Centre on November 5, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

Anne Curtis (nee Andruski)
February 7, 1934 -November 8, 2024

Peacefully on November 8, 2024, Anne Curtis earned her wings and went to be with the Lord, at the age of 90 years.

Mom was born in North Ridge and grew up there, moving to Portage at a young age. She spent her younger life living and working in Winnipeg. She raised her family in Oakville and Portage.

Edna Jean Olson (nee Smith)

Surrounded by family, Edna Olson passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
