Perfect Pet 2021

Jessica had a tough choice to make when she found out one of her pets had won February’s Perfect Pet Contest. When she got the call, she was asked which of her furry friends she thought had taken home the prize. Her guess? Her boyfriend’s cat, Psycho. But the real winner? Shadow, her almost three-year-old Pomeranian!

February may have started off with frigid temperatures, keeping many people indoors, but thankfully, that just meant more time to spend with their beloved pets. From rescue animals who’ve found their forever homes to playful companions who bring joy every day, every pet entered is special in their own way.

The first Perfect Pet winner of 2025 has been crowned, and his name is Gunner! This energetic and lovable pup has captured the title, but there’s just one problem—we need to find his owner!

Dawn Klassen from All Creatures made the big announcement, but we haven’t been able to get a hold of Gunner’s human, Michael Fontaine. So, if you know Michael, let him know that Gunner is officially the first Perfect Pet of the year!

As we start 2025, we’re excited to introduce our first entries for the Perfect Pet Contest of the new year! Our furry, scaly, and feathered friends have already begun making their mark, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic start to the year. This month, we have a mix of adorable cats and dogs, sheep, and even a bunny, proving that every pet has their chance to be the Perfect Pet and win fantastic prizes from All Creatures & Rodeo Dawg!
