This month’s Perfect Pet winner is Zeus, an 8-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and plenty of energy to spare.

Zeus recently lost his best friend Meekah, a 10-year-old female GSD he was inseparable from—but despite the change, he’s handled the transition to being an only dog with grace. He’s stayed full of life, always bringing smiles to his little humans and keeping the good vibes going. His owner shared that Zeus absolutely loves visiting Dawn at All Creatures—it's his favourite place to go!

July brought a beautiful mix of sunshine, heat, and those classic summer storms—but no matter the weather, pet lovers across Estevan kept the entries coming!

This month’s contest brought in a fantastic mix of furry (and not-so-furry) friends. We had playful pups, cool cats, a hamster named Tony, and even a goat named Winnie—all showing off their charm for a shot at the title of July’s Perfect Pet.

We're teaming up with our friends at Pet Valu to show off your furry, scaly, feathery, barking, meowing, swimming, jumping, and crawling pets! 

At the end of July, we'll draw 5 pets for a showdown! The pet with the most votes will win a $50 gift card from our friends at Pet Valu, plus the title of perfect pet! 

We have our June Perfect Pet winner, and it’s Max! This playful pup captured hearts with his love for the outdoors, where he spends his time running around the yard and enjoying everything summer has to offer.

Summer is officially here in southeast Saskatchewan, and it’s already been an exciting one! From grad celebrations and parade day fun to the thrills of the Energy City Ex, there's been no shortage of moments to remember. We’ve even seen a few wild weather days—yes, we’re looking at you, tornadoes!—but through it all, our pets have been right by our side, bringing joy, comfort, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

After a rainy month full of muddy paws and cozy cuddles, one pup stood out—and it’s Yeti, a Jack Russell mix with a big heart and a serious love for walks and naps.

Yeti was adopted from the Estevan Humane Society, and according to his owner Dallas, he’s a total mama’s boy who’s happiest when he’s curled up for a nap or out on a stroll. He’s also got a housemate—Arnie—who’s no stranger to the Perfect Pet Contest either. When asked if Arnie might be jealous of Yeti’s win, Dallas was quick to say they’ll share the spotlight.

May brought a steady stretch of gloomy, rainy weather, but that didn’t stop people across southeast Saskatchewan from sharing the sunshine their pets bring into their lives. From cuddles on stormy days to muddy-pawed adventures between showers, we had some wonderful entries this month — and yes, it was mostly dogs stealing the spotlight!

One of these adorable contestants will be taking home two $50 gift cards — one from All Creatures and one from Rodeo Dawg — along with the all-important title of May’s Perfect Pet!
