Dorothy Marzolf aged 90 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 in Regency Manor.  She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Andrew Lasota; siblings: Alex, Andrew, and Helen; and son, James.  Dorothy is survived by her children: Helen (Tim), Graham (Shelley), John (Kathleen), Vernon, Laurel (Doug), Donna, David (Geri-Lynn), and Mitchell (Niki); as well her grandchildren: Maya, Seth, Parker, Taylor, Calsy, Alexis, and Sophia.

Lloyd George Elsom

Lloyd George Elsom aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.  George was born in March of 1936 and was a farmer for his entire life, farming at Boharm, SK.  Later in his life, he received his Certificate for Carpentry and went to work for C&S Construction and the Moose Jaw Union Hospital.  George was an avid hunter and enjoyed getting together with his friends and family.  During his time at Moose Jaw Special Care home, George liked to feed the birds and squirrels through his window.

November 10th, 1925 – February 1st, 2024

Ever so peacefully with family by her side, Mary Elizabeth Hembroff departed this life at 98 years of age, on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.  Mary lived a remarkable life, living alongside the river in Churchill Park, River Valley in Moose Jaw, SK for 74 years.  Mary had a captivating energy and contagious laugh, transcending onto whomever she encountered.  Mary’s endless love of people had others gravitating towards her throughout her life.

Betty Ann Dietrich

Betty Ann Dietrich aged 71 years of Central Butte, SK, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, with her family by her side.  

Betty grew up in the Saskatoon, SK area with her parents and siblings.  She was the youngest of six children, having four brothers and one sister.  In 1971, Betty moved with her parents to Central Butte where they ran the café.  While working at the café she met Charles and they soon married and had three daughters.

Olive was born on October 31st, 1930 to Lillian (née: Fahy) and Russel Herrick in Climax, SK. She grew up in Shaunavon, SK alongside her six siblings.
