September 11th, 1927 – November 9th, 2023

DIETRICH

Charles Alexander Dietrich aged 83 years of Central Butte, SK, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.  Charles was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive husband, father and friend.

Charles fell in love with flying at the age of 17 and flew as a helicopter pilot all over the world.  He moved back home to farm and met his wife Betty in 1972, and they went on to have three daughters.  Charles put family first, always, and was a dedicated husband and father.  His wisdom and guidance were the foundation of his family.

The family of Marvin (Red) Schaitel is sad to announce his passing on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with liver cancer.

DENNIS WAYNE KEHLER

August 16th, 1949 - November 5th, 2023

Dennis Wayne Kehler aged 74 years of Herbert, SK, passed away on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 due to complications from a stroke. He was the youngest of nine children.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of a beautiful soul, Margaret Loreen Gummeson.  She left our world on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, peacefully, with family beside her, which is exactly the way she would’ve wanted it.  She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; parents, Percy and Ethel; brothers, Warren and Don; as well as her son, Doug. 

DORWARD

The family of Bruce Dorward is sad to announce his passing on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, in Moose Jaw, SK.  After a final battle with cancer, he passed quietly, peacefully and with dignity, with his family by his side.

He was predeceased by his parents, David and Kathleen; brother, Ron; father-in-law Duke; and mother-in-law, Winnifred.  Bruce is loving survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Blake (Kristi) and Nathan (Kristi); and grandchildren: Rhian (Drayson), Jordyn, Mac, Theo, Ava and Noah.

MARGARET JEAN GURNEY

May 13th, 1929 – October 31st, 2023

On Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 (Margaret) Jean Gurney (née: Batt) passed away with family by her side.  The world dimmed for the countless people whose lives she touched through her kindness, love and joy that she shared with everyone.  Jean’s life and her dedication to her family, friends, and career as a teacher made the world a better place.
