Trevor Wilson

It is with sadness that the family of Trevor Wilson announce his sudden passing on October 19, 2024, at the age of 70. He will be sadly missed by his children Keisha Birg, Marlon Wilson, Colleen Ferguson, Jelani Wilson, Omari Wilson; grandchildren Malaya Wilson, Lucas Birg, Levi Birg, Omir Ferguson as well as other family members and friends. A celebration of Trevor’s life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Place for their compassion and care of our father, Trevor.

Timothy James Stewart

The family of Timothy James Stewart is sad to announce his passing on Saturday October 12, 2024, at the age of 63. Timothy was born on March 7, 1961, to Ann Marie and Raymond Stewart in Belcarres, SK. He will be missed by family and friends. There will be no formal funeral service. Timothy will be interred in the family plot in Kennedy, SK. Memorial donations in Timothy’s may be made to Saskatchewan Cancer Society 200-4545 Parliament Ave. Regina, SK Canada S4W 0G3.  

Valerie Merrick

Valerie Merrick of Moose Jaw passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 86. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. A reception will follow at W. J. Jones & Son reception centre at 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw, SK. In living memory of Valerie, a memorial planting was made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd. Faye Sylvestre

It is with sadness the family of Faye Sylvestre announces her passing on October 11, 2024, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her parents and daughter Penny. Faye will be missed by her children Cheryl Sylvestre, Ronald Sylvestre, Donna White, Calvin Sylvestre, and Robert Sylvestre; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and siblings Jim Holkestead and Penny Holkestead.  

Joan Ann Schnell

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Joan Ann Schnell on October 9, 2024, at the age 97. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband Adam; son Jack; daughter Patricia; grandson Jesse and all her siblings. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Judy; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 1:00PM at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W, Moose Jaw. Pastor Doug Shepherd will officiate.

Edna McNabb

It is with much love that the family of Edna McNabb announces her peaceful passing on Monday, September 16th, 2024, in Regina at the age of 90 years.

Edna was predeceased by her parents Adeline and Peter Desjarlais; husband Raymond McNabb Sr; children Raymond McNabb and Brenda Medernach; grandson Eric Medernach; siblings Elmer Ross, Wilfred Desjarlais (Erica), Rita Desjarlais, Joe Desjarlais (Sharon) and Walter Desjarlais (Brenda); sister-in-law Eileen Desjarlais and brother-in-law Barry Glover.

John "Trystan" Hall

It is with sadness the family of John “Trystan” Hall of Moose Jaw, SK, formally of Calgary, AB announces his passing on July 2, 2023, at the age of 25. Predeceased by his grandparents John Stuart and Enid Hall; uncle Angus “Jamie” Bruce, all of Ottawa, ON. Trystan will be sadly missed by his parents John and Leanne Hall; brother Nigel; son John Sawyer and his mom Morgan; grandparents Arlen and Vi Avery; uncles Kerry (Deb) Avery, Randy (Kelly) Avery, Mike (Elaine) Avery, Tim (Corrine) Avery; Aunt Ellen Bruce; as well as numerous cousins, family, and friends.

Agnes Ackerman

Agnes Ackerman (nee: Eiswerth) was born Nov 13, 1943 in Holdfast, Saskatchewan and passed away Aug 22, 2022 at the age of 78 years. She was predeceased by her parents Ferdinand and Rose Eiswerth; sister Terry Jolly; brothers Robert and Andrew and daughter Jacquie Ackerman.

Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Richard, son Patrick (Donna); grandchildren Carson (Angela) and Skylar; her sisters Laura Jaeger, Marie Gemmell, Sharon (Gary) Webb and brother Ron (Ruth) Eiswerth and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard Greggains

It is with deep sadness we wish to announce that Richard James Greggains, son of the late Richard 'Dick' Greggains and Catherine 'Kate' Cumming, departed this world at Regina, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 12, 2022. Richard, or "Richie" as many people had fondly referred to him, was born in Moose Jaw but grew up on the Greggains' family farm at Mortlach. He left school at a young age to help run the family farm, but eventually resided in his home here in Moose Jaw where he assumed various paid and volunteer laborer positions until his retirement.
