New organizers excited for an evening of music, food, games and fellowship at the Morris Christmas Dinner this Saturday

It's a family affair when to comes to the organizing committee for the 2024 Morris Christmas Dinner, Liz Hoffman along with her husband Troy, parents John and Esther Lowen, and her in-laws Mary Ann and Dale Hoffman are the six in charge of organizing this year's Morris Christmas Dinner!

Traditionally held on Christmas Day, the event has been moved to Saturday, December 21st this year.

The winners have been chosen for the Town of Altona's Tote Bag Design Contest

Between October 29th and November 21st, kids aged K-12 in the Town of Altona were encouraged to submit their designs for a "Tote Bag Design Contest" that was held by the town. 

The town received many amazing designs, making it incredibly difficult to select the winners. With nearly 70 submissions, Town of Altona staff carefully selected finalists based on creativity, how much time and effort it seems was put into creating the design, the meaning behind the design and how it represents Altona.

Enjoy another evening food, fellowship and local music this Saturday at The Community Exchange in Altona

Following the success of the first three music nights at The Community Exchange in Altona, they are ready to host another one this Saturday, November 30th!

Preceding the music will be a Community Meal which runs from 5:00-6:15pm, the concert kicks off at 6:30pm with local band Trio Los Laureles taking the stage playing a variety of music from Latin American countries.
