It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Bauer, aged 83 years of Moose Jaw, SK, on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, with family by her side.  Dorothy was born December 29th, 1941, in Assiniboia, SK. 

WILLARD G. MITCHELL

Willard Gerald Mitchell, aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, February 1st, 2025.  Willard was born on August 13th, 1940, to Mervil and Pearl Mitchell of Rouleau, SK.  He was a longed-for little brother to Clifton.  Willard’s early years were spent on the family farm north of Rouleau, and he remained a farmer in his bones all his life.  Rouleau had a tiny apostolic church his family attended, and from the earliest age he was shaped by a desire to serve the Lord and others. 

ALLAN REES EVANS

December 26th, 1939 - January 30th, 2025

Allan Rees Evans passed away with family by his side, on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. 

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis; parents, William and Ethel Evans; father-in-law, James Logan; mother-in-law, Ruby Logan; son, Bruce; son-in-law, Richard Bellefeuille; and great-granddaughter, Maren Bradford. 

EDWARD WILFRED KEEN

July 30th, 1942 – January 29th, 2025

SIKORSKI

Olga Sikorski of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 90 years of age.  She was born to parents Michael and Eva Lozinski and was raised in the Hubbard/Ituna area. 

Olga was a lover of anything furry.  She was an excellent seamstress, Ukrainian cook and baker.  She enjoyed having Sunday suppers and get togethers with the family.

SUTHERLAND

Helen Bernice Sutherland aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away after a sudden fall on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.  She was predeceased by her husband, Fraser Sutherland.  Helen is survived by her sister, Margaret Yaschuk.

The family would like to extend a special thankyou to the staff at The Bentley and Chateau St. Michaels for the care they provided to Helen. 

WILDER

Elaine Crystal Wilder passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24th, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

Elaine survived by her husband and best friend, Cliff Wilder (married May 23rd, 1986); daughters, Mo and Sandee; granddaughters, Raven and Hailey; and great-grandchildren, Rylie and Kellin. 

KNITTEL

It is with deep sadness that the family of Alexander Fredrick Knittel announces his passing on January 24th, 2025, just a few days before his 69th birthday. 

Alex was born January 29th, 1956, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. His greatest passions in life were spending time with his wife and daughter, his fur babies, and his love for the outdoors. Nothing made him happier than fishing with his family or taking a hunting trip in the winter. 

CHARTRAND

Evelyn Marie Chartrand of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 79 years of age.  Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Corinne Benson and Evette Chartrand; and sons, Tony (Shelly) Chartrand and Edward (Leesa) Chartrand.  In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, no funeral service will take place.
