Olga Sikorski of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 90 years of age.  She was born to parents Michael and Eva Lozinski and was raised in the Hubbard/Ituna area. 

Olga was a lover of anything furry.  She was an excellent seamstress, Ukrainian cook and baker.  She enjoyed having Sunday suppers and get togethers with the family.

Helen Bernice Sutherland

Helen Bernice Sutherland aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away after a sudden fall on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.  She was predeceased by her husband, Fraser Sutherland.  Helen is survived by her sister, Margaret Yaschuk.

The family would like to extend a special thankyou to the staff at The Bentley and Chateau St. Michaels for the care they provided to Helen.

Elaine Crystal Wilder passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24th, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

Elaine survived by her husband and best friend, Cliff Wilder (married May 23rd, 1986); daughters, Mo and Sandee; granddaughters, Raven and Hailey; and great-grandchildren, Rylie and Kellin. 

Alexander Fredrick Knittel

It is with deep sadness that the family of Alexander Fredrick Knittel announces his passing on January 24th, 2025, just a few days before his 69th birthday. 

Alex was born January 29th, 1956, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. His greatest passions in life were spending time with his wife and daughter, his fur babies, and his love for the outdoors. Nothing made him happier than fishing with his family or taking a hunting trip in the winter.

Evelyn Marie Chartrand of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 79 years of age.  Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Corinne Benson and Evette Chartrand; and sons, Tony (Shelly) Chartrand and Edward (Leesa) Chartrand.  In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, no funeral service will take place. Allan Joseph Flamant

FLAMANT

Allan Joseph Flamant aged 62 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025. Allan was predeceased by his brother, Wayne; and good friends, Roy McNally and Adwin Young.

Allan lived at Valley View Center from childhood until 1988. He then went to live with Jan and Harvey Stewart for 35 years before moving to Karis Disabilities Services.

Christopher John Skott

 

SKOTT

Christopher John Skott, a caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17th, 2025, forever leaving a scar on the hearts of many.

Chris was not a complex man and was happiest behind the wheel of a semi-truck, driving down the highway.  In his time off from playing with the big trucks, he loved playing music and had an affinity for his guitars.

In keeping with Chris’ wishes, there will be no formal service.  May he find peace in his new journey.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Aldridge Laybourne aged 68 years of Tugaske, SK, passed away on Friday, January 17th, 2025.  John was born on September 23rd, 1956, in Central Butte, SK to parents, James and Myrtle Laybourne and grew up on the family farm north of Tugaske.
