James Maclowich

James “Jim, Jimmy” Peter Maclowich aged 71 years of Tuxford, SK, passed away on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024.  Jim was born in Moose Jaw, SK on August 9th, 1953.  After graduating from Central Collegiate, Jim married Oralyn Biggs and Had two children, Jill Nevada Dawn and Caleb Darby James.  Jim and Oralyn moved to Saskatoon, SK for Jim to further his education at the University of Saskatchewan where he wrote his Alsat after 2 years and was granted entrance into the pursuit of Law, of which he graduated from in 1983.  Jim and the family moved back to Moose Jaw where Jim w

Shirley Anne Pohl (née: Bowen

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Anne Pohl (née: Bowen) announce her passing on Friday, October 25th, 2024, with her family by her side.  Shirley was born July 7th, 1944, to Harlan and Mary Bowen (née: Boyce) in Regina, Saskatchewan.  On October 10th, 1945, she welcomed her brother Gordon Wayne Bowen. 

Richard Ernest Knights

Richard Ernest Knights aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on the 23rd of October 2024.  He is now with the love of his life Margaret as they walk on the golden road to Heaven, holding each other's hand as they have done for over 65 years.  Richard was surrounded by his loving daughter in the last hours of life.   

Sharon Lucille Williams

Sharon Lucille Williams aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, October 25th, 2024.  Sharon was born in Moose Jaw on December 29th, 1944, to Claude and Agnes Depper.   

Sharon married Clifford Halverson in August of 1965 and together they had two children, Darren and Bonnie.  Later, she married Thomas Williams, and this union brought together their two families. 

Sharon enjoyed crocheting, curling, and socializing, and especially loved to attend dances at the Cosmo Centre.

It is with deep sorrow and hearts full of memories that we announce the passing of beloved wife and mother, Florence Jocelyn Wood, who left us peacefully on October 17th, 2024, at the age of 80 years.  Born on December 20th, 1943, in Herbert, Saskatchewan, she was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength to all who knew her.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of William (Bill or Willie) Seman announce his passing on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, just one week prior to his 95th birthday. 

Bill was the youngest of four children born to Andrew and Anne Seman and was raised on his parents’ farm near Boharm, SK.  His education was obtained at McRoberts School close to the farm.  He experienced the dirty thirties and all the difficulties that farmers face.
