With the Winnipeg New Music Festival in full swing, the Centennial Concert Hall is a busy and happening space filled with music, rehearsals and conversations.
On Monday morning, Classic 107 set up outside of Portal 15 and welcomed a number of guests participating in this year's WNMF Composers Institute. Providing a unique professional training opportunity for young composers, the selected applicants are immersed in the world of orchestral writing through mentorship by some of Canada’s leading orchestral composers and through close integration with the renowned Winnipeg New Music Festival and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
