If you are looking for some fun in the sun this weekend, look no further than the annual Weyburn Classic Slo-Pitch tournament being hosted at Nickle Lake Regional Park. Co-Ed slo-pitch happening on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; they are also having a 24-team cornhole tournament on Saturday evening.
A fun weekend all around, there will be beer gardens available to help beat the heat and all proceeds from the tournament helps with fundraising for the Co-Ed slo-pitch league. Payouts will be available to the best teams, with the top team winning $500, second place receiving $300 and third place walking away with $200.
Teams can register for the slo-pitch tournament by texting Carrie at 306-577-9019. The deadline to register for slo-pitch is tomorrow at 6:00 P.M to give the league ample time to schedule the games. Cornhole registration will open on Thursday and its first come first serve for 24 teams available and you can enter by either texting Carrie or by visiting the beer gardens Friday night or Saturday during the day.
