The Men of Vision branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has been a beehive of activity over the weekend leading up to Monday's Remembrance Day ceremony.

Yesterday was the annual Poppy Tea and bake sale of the Legion Ladies' Auxiliary that packed the lower hall (see attached photo gallery). Meanwhile, cadets and their leaders were picking up supplies for the final weekend of poppy sales.

He encourages the public to come to the Legion Hall afterwards to socialize while enjoying chili and refreshments.

"It's a chance to speak to members of the branch to find out what we're truly about," says Ross, "As well, we have vets drop by on Remembrance Day that aren't members. Not all of them care to talk about their time in the service, and we need to respect that, but there's a lot who have stores to share. It's a great opportunity to hear about some of those experiences, as well as partaking a couple of drinks in a nice, relaxed atmosphere."
