WATCH: Early morning meteor caught on dashcam

Cochranites who hit the road early were treated to a rare sight this morning.

A bright meteor streaked across the sky around 6:34 a.m. Wednesday (Nov 13) morning.

Jessica caught the space show on her dash cam while cruising along Deerfoot Trail in Calgary.

Comments across social media were raving about the blink-and-you'll-miss-it event.

"That's what that was? I saw big flash in the sky around that time this morning while driving:" says Hector.

"Wow! I saw that here in Medicine Hat as well. That was so cool" posted Georgina.
