Here are a few fun events taking place in Strathmore this weekend.
Pistil & Stems Floral Boutique:
There will be a few nights of food, drinks, and giveaways as part of the Pistil & Stems Floral Boutique. Residents can preorder their Christmas greens and floral arrangements to receive 10 per cent off. The event runs on Friday (Nov. 15) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday (Nov. 16) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Real Canadian Wrestling Strathmania:
Real Canadian Wrestling is hosting Strathmania on (Friday (Nov. 15) at the Strathmore Ag Pavilion. The company is looking to suplex the competition as the show gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
Cat Café:
If you're looking to find a new cat, the Happy Cat Sanctuary is partnering up with the Strathmore Municipal Library. The event runs on Saturday (Nov. 16) starting at 11 a.m. Donations are welcome to benefit both companies.
Fraid Knot:
The Celtic show will feature fun tunes comparable to Dropkick Murphy's and the Great Big Sea. The concert takes place on Saturday (Nov. 16) at 8 p.m. at the Royal Canada Legion in Strathmore.
Clothing Exchange:
On Friday (Nov. 15) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday (Nov. 16) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a clothing exchange at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church in Strathmore. All items are free.
