Kindersley, SK — Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team (CRT), in collaboration with the Kindersley RCMP Detachment, has laid charges against two individuals following a significant drug trafficking investigation in Kindersley.
On November 6, 2024, officers executed a search warrant on a vehicle and a residence located on 8th Street West in Kindersley. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately $30,000 in cash, 354 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of fentanyl, 800 illegal cigarettes, and various drug trafficking-related items.
Police arrested an adult male and an adult female away from the residence as part of the investigation.
As a result, Cameron Watson, 41, and Amanda Watson, 46, both residents of Kindersley, have each been charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
Both accused are scheduled to appear in Kindersley Provincial Court on December 17, 2024.
The investigation remains ongoing, and RCMP continues to target drug trafficking activity in the region as part of their efforts to ensure community safety.
