Osman Adam is the proud new winner of $5 million.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, he won the money through the October 9 Lotto 6/49 Classic draw.
“I felt calm and collected when I saw the amount,” Adam said. “But that might have been because I had to count the zeroes a few times.”
The Calgary man previously won $1 million during the Lotto Max prize in 2021.
Three years ago, he purchased a house and a vehicle, both of which he still uses today.
“I look at it like: I just bought a new vehicle [when I won] last time,” he joked. “I liked it three years ago, and I don’t want a new one now,” added Adam.
Adam says he plans to invest some of his new winnings.
“Real estate, stocks, and bonds, that sort of thing. I’m feeling very focused this time around."
