A pedestrian is in hospital after being struck by a car while crossing Portage Avenue on Monday morning.
Police had closed off the lanes of eastbound Portage Avenue near The Bay while emergency crews responded.
Paramedics took the person to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Traffic has since been reopened in the area.
The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating. Anyone with information, including dashcam footage can contact the WPS or Crime Stoppers.
