UPDATE: Eastbound lane now open on Highway 1 west of Belle Plaine following semi jackknife

UPDATE 6:50 a.m.: The Highway Hotline shows that just before 7 a.m., the eastbound lane remains down to one lane due to a jackknifed semi.

The Highway Hotline is reporting a collision in the eastbound lane of Highway 1, 4 km west of Belle Plaine this morning. 

Police are on site, and motorists are reminded to check the Highway Hotline for updates before heading out.
