For all the coffee lovers out there, Tim Horton's Camp Day is back on July 16.
Any purchase of a hot or iced coffee on this Wednesday will help send kids to camp to make lasting memories. One hundred per cent of the proceeds from these coffee purchases will go towards Camp Day, so the bigger the cup, the better.
On top of coffee orders, Tim's is offering $2 Camp Day donuts, with the full proceeds going to help kids as well.
For people who want to support without buying food, Tim's will be selling Camp Day donation badges and Camp Day bracelets.
All the proceeds help Manitoban kids who wouldn't be able to attend camp because of the funds needed, get to camp and enjoy wilderness in all its glory.
The Tim Hortons Foundation Camps' vision is to provide life-changing programs, which in turn help youth imagine a future without poverty.
Tim Hortons has one camp in Manitoba located at Seven Sisters Falls on the shores of Sylvia Lake in the Whiteshell. This camp is the newest addition to the Tim's Camps and even has it's own yurt village.
The morning show host of CHVN, Sylvia St. Cyr, will be live on location in the morning of July 16 at the Tim Horton's located at 835 St. Mary's Road. Stop in, say hi, and purchase a coffee or donut to send a kid to camp on Wednesday, July 16.
