South Dike Pathway in Winkler set for repaving 

The City of Winkler is preparing to repave the south dike pathway between 14th Street South and PTH 32. 

Assistant City Manager Wendy Klassen said the path is “In rough shape, so we plan to repave it to allow walkers and cyclists a smoother ride. We plan to start removing the existing path [this week]... and if the weather cooperates, we will start paving shortly after that.”  

The City estimates the work will take about a week and a half to complete.  

Path users are being asked to avoid the area during construction.
