The Swift Current Stock Car Association is gearing up for the last official weekend of races, featuring a full lineup of cars; the modifieds, minis, streets, and hobby stocks.
The races will be hosted at the Swift Current Motor Speedway this weekend with annual kids' day festivities and more.
Vice president for the Swift Current Stock Car Association, Terry Fehr, shared that races will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
"Saturday is one of the more exciting days, we're doing kids' day on Saturday," said Fehr. "That's the day when the cars all pull up on the front straightaway for the intermission.
"The kids all come down, and the drivers have candy to give away, stickers, and all kinds of cool stuff. We also have a bunch of cool prize draws for the kids that day."
Admission is $15 per person for adults or $5 for children.
"I also like to remind people that our pits are open up to about an hour before the races," he said. "So if you'd like to come take a closer look at the cars, you're always welcome."
More information about rain make-up races and the season wind-up is still to come. Anyone interested can visit the SCSCA on social media.
"We're really thankful for all the fans that show up," added Fehr.
