Thursday marked the first full day of competition in the Bernie Kemick arena.
There was some tough competition in the show ring as producers and 4H members brought some top-quality cattle to the show.
Kodie Doetzel, the judge for the Purebred Cattle Show had a tough job but managed to pick out the top winners.
Judging a livestock show is always tough and everyone has their own opinions based on what they'd want to see in their own herd.
Some of the basic things to watch for is the basic structure, balance, and uniformity, to the volume and degree of muscling, growth capacity

The All Breeds Champion Male was a Black Angus shown by Sharon Wagner of Moose Jaw, while City View Simmentals of Moose Jaw took home the Reserve Champion banner.
The All Breeds Champion Female Banner was won by a Black Angus shown by Hillary Sauder of Hodgeville
The Reserve Champion Female title was a Simmental owned by City View Simmentals at Moose Jaw
And the Open Showmanship winner was Hillary Sauder of Hodgeville.
The day wrapped up with the Jackpot Steer and Heifer Show.
The Grand Champion Jackpot Heifer was shown by Hillary Sauder of Hodgeville, while Laramie Greenwood of Swift Current had the Reserve Champion Jackpot Heifer.
Cooper Smyth of Swift Current showed the Grand Champion Jackpot Steer, while the Reserve Champion was shown by Brady Hansen of Weldon, Saskatchewan.
