'We can't do what we do without prayer'

Kids camp ministries across Canada are coming together for a day of prayer as they prepare to share the gospel with thousands of children. 

"We estimate about half the kids coming through camps are unchurched," says Kelly Rempel, Marketing Director of One Hope Canada. "They come to a place where they can just put aside those things they're dealing with at home and have a safe place to have fun and experience healthy relationships. And of course, hear about Jesus."

Billy Graham statue going up in U.S. capitol

An upcoming ceremony will be honouring the late evangelist Billy Graham with a statue in Washington, D.C.

On May 16 at 11:00 a.m., Graham's statue will be revealed alongside 200 other American statues. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) announced that Michael W. Smith as well as House Speaker Mike Johnson will attend the ceremony. 

The statue was designed by an artist from Graham's home state of North Carolina. The bronze figure will stand seven feet tall with Graham holding a Bible in one hand. 

Mother's Day: Relating to moms of the Bible

For Marina Hofman, being a mother was something she had dreamed of. However, in 2014, Marina and her husband were in a head-on collision that left both of them with life-altering injuries.

"Although we survived, I had a lot of issues after my surgeries were complete," said Hoffman. "I was depressed all the time and anxious constantly. I had PTSD and a brain injury, in addition to several body injuries."

"Me, Bear Grylls, The River Thames and of course, The Holy Spirit," says Brand on Instagram after he was baptized last week. 

On April 26 Brand made it official after publicly declaring on Instagram that he was excited to be baptized. The baptism happened two days later on April 28.

How Blessing Offor is making a difference around the world

When Blessing Offor is not working on music, the artist has a special cause that he is passionate about helping others with.

The 'Brighter Days' singer was born blind in one eye and had limited vision in the other due to congenital glaucoma, which is a rare genetic congenital ocular disorder that affects children at birth. 

Offor now uses his platform to bring awareness and help others who face the same challenges that he does, by creating Offor Mercy Fund.

Cece Winans was blown away after a preschool teacher from Alabama posted a video of her preschool students worshiping while singing one of her songs.

"This makes my heart sing!" said Cece in a post on Instagram. "God is good! ❤️"

The video shows the young preschoolers raising their hands and closing their eyes as they sing 'Goodness of God.'

National Prayer Breakfast in Ottawa filled with hope for Canada's future

Justin Trudeau and Pierre Poilievre have found some common ground this week in their Christian faith as they shared with over 1,000 people at the National Prayer Breakfast in Ottawa. 

"It was a fantastic experience and opportunity," says Ellen Graf-Martin of Graf-Martin Communications. "It's two days of asking God to give wisdom to our leaders and bless our nation. Tuesday morning was the main event and 1,300 people came together at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa with the leaders of the national parties including our Prime Minister."
