Young adults from across Winnipeg and beyond are gearing up for the second annual Collide Conference next month.

"We have a heart and vision to see young people, this generation on fire for God and really passionate for Him, stepping into their calling and their purpose," Collide co-director Rhythm Knowler says.

Bestselling author and reality TV star Duane Chapman is getting set to release a new book. 

Best known for his role on the reality show Dog the Bounty Hunter, Duane Chapman reveals his most intimate stories, including his testimony in his follow-up memoir Nine Lives and Counting: A Bounty Hunter's Journey to Faith, Hope and Redemption. 

This book goes beyond the screen and shows Duane's journey through some of the darkest times of his life and the redemption he finds in the end. 

An American Idol contestant put God front and centre during a recent performance on the popular television show. 

21-year-old Abi Carter, who comes from what she says is a very religious household of seven, performed Hillsong UNITED's 'Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)' in a special episode live from Hawaii.

Fans in the crowd raised their arms in praise, while judges were almost brought to tears.

A new cafe opened up in New York last month that is spreading joy while employing people with Down Syndrome and Autism. 

Café Joyeux started in Paris, France in 2017 to help employ some of the most underemployed population. As of March of this year, the second Café Joyeux opened up in Manhattan. 

The café is a little different than a regular business as its number one priority isn't profit but rather inclusion. The non-profit employs people who have Down Syndrome or Autism. 

Singer, songwriter and 2x Grammy Award winner Lauren Daigle was presented with two plaques over the weekend. 

Her 2018 album, Look Up Child, was officially certified 2x Platinum and her single, 'Thank God I Do' received Gold Certification.

A new documentary was released this week calling for better safeguarding and accountability in the Church.

Let There Be Light looks at what many youth and young adults experienced over 40 years under the leadership of Mike Pilavachi, a UK church leader. 

This short film highlights victims’ stories, alongside expert insight from experienced professionals discussing how cultures can develop that allow abuse of this nature and the long-term psychological harm that victims can suffer as a result of it.

A former member of We The Kingdom has taken on a new role. 

Last fall, Franni Rae Cash Cain announced she would be leaving the band to pursue other opportunities. 

Since then, Franni landed a role in the Christmas musical Carol, and now that that has wrapped up, Franni has joined the cast of the survival thriller film Hazel.

Franni is joined by Laurie Fortier (The Walking Dead) and Madelyn Dundon (Getting Grace) in this new film produced by Canticle Productions.

We Are Messengers have officially released their fourth studio album.

"This album sounds exactly like what is happening in my head and my heart," said frontman Darren Mulligan.

The record, Where The Joy Is, features ten new songs, all co-written by frontman Darren Mulligan alongside an array of respected songwriters, including Jeff Pardo, Jordan Sapp, Ethan Hulse, Hank Bentley and Kyle Williams. The album will also feature collaborations with Ben Fuller and Blanca.

Crowder has announced he is getting set to release a new album next month. 

On Friday, the Grammy-nominated artist took to social media to announce his new single 'Dash (featuring TobyMac). At the same time, he also announced the release date of the second album of his three-part trilogy, which started with Milk & Honey in March 2022.

A new Canadian Christian artist hopes her latest single will help listeners rid themselves of the fear and anxiety that may be overwhelming them.

Elenee, who is based out of Saskatchewan, released her newest song 'No Place Here' about two weeks ago.

"I had come up with these words after having just been absolutely done with dealing with some of these lies that the enemy had been planting in my mind," Elenee explained.
