'Worth the wait': For King & Country perform to sold-out crowd in Winnipeg

It was a sold-out crowd at the Centennial Concert Hall Wednesday evening. 

After three years of waiting, For King & Country brought their 'What Are We Waiting For?tour to Winnipeg. 

The Smallbone brothers were originally supposed to come through Winnipeg on their 'Burn The Ships' Canadian tour in the spring of 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic quickly halted that tour, leading to a three-year delay.  

NEEDTOBREATHE set to release new album this fall

After almost two years of writing and recording, NEEDTOBREATHE is getting set to release new music.

The new album, Caves, is the bands ninth studio album.

"We've worked harder on these songs than any other record we've ever made, and we are so eager to share this new music with you," said the band in a social media post.

The new album is set to be released this fall.

Lionsgate acquires distribution rights to all seasons of historical drama 'The Chosen'

What started as a crowdsourcing project has grown into something much bigger. 

The Chosen, a multi-season drama about the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of his followers, is now a massive global phenomenon with over 110 million viewers in 175 countries around the world, with plans to make it available in 600 languages.

Celebrating life, support struggling moms with a walk

Life Culture Canada is once again hosting their annual Manitoba Walk for Life to show support for the value of life.

The Walk for Life will take place on Sunday, June 4 at K.R. Barkman Park in Steinbach and will include a barbecue at 1 p.m., speeches and, of course, a walk.

"It's not meant to be a political protest or anything like that," says Susan Penner, Executive Director, Life Culture. "It's more just like-minded people, people who support the value of life, coming together."

Baby joy for Janzen family

Lead singer of The Color, Jordan Janzen announces baby number three is on the way for the growing family.

On May 20, Jordan Janzen posted on Facebook that he and his wife, Gwendolyn, are excited to share with friends, family and fans that they are expecting their third child in November of this year.

"So grateful + excited to share that Janzen baby #3 will be joining us in November," reads the Facebook post.

Christian singer Megan Danielle is amazed at what God has done for her after making it to the grand finale of American Idol and coming in second place.

"What a wild and unforgettable ride!" said Megan Danielle in a Facebook post. "I can't wait to see what else God has in store for me."

Danielle first auditioned for the show in February, receiving a golden ticket.
