This week, the school, a registered charity serving newcomer and former refugee youth ages 12-21, providing specialized, trauma-informed, accredited high school education in a Christ-centred environment, will host a mixed media art exhibit called "This is My Story."

Steinbach's Southeast Event Centre to host Zach Williams only Canadian concert

Steinbach's brand-new multipurpose facility is partially open and is anticipating a full year of bringing the community together for events.

"We're so excited about this building and it's not even completely open yet," says the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Sales at the Southeast Event Centre in Steinbach, Michelle Sawatzky-Koop. "March 14, we got the arena bowl open for that very first Steinbach Piston game. We got the occupancy granted a mere 12-24 hours before we let 2,400 people into the building."

Hands raised in worship as Breanna Nix takes the Grand Ole Opry stage

It was a dream come true for American Idol runner-up Breanna Nix. 

The Christian country singer performed at the Grand Ole Opry on June 5, 2025. This was also the first big performance for NIx since the show ended back in May.

"What an absolute dream come true," said Nix in a post on Facebook. "Thank you, Jesus, for this incredible opportunity—for Your faithfulness and grace in my life. I wouldn’t be here without it. All Glory to God."

Brandon Lake turns CMA Fest into a powerful moment of worship

Christian artist and songwriter Brandon Lake turned a recent performance at the Country Music Association's 2025 Fest into a time of worship. 

The popular Grammy award-winning singer performed in front of a massive crowd on Sunday, taking the country music festival to church. 

He performed "Gratitude," with the crowd rising to their feet with their arms stretched up, singing along and worshipping to the powerful song. 

Carrie Underwood joins Ben Fuller on Opry stage after emotional new album drop

Christian artist Ben Fuller has had a full week indeed after releasing a brand new album, Walk Through Fire, on June 6. 

The album is his second studio release and has two featured artists, including Molly Kate Kestner, and well-known singer and American Idol judge, Carrie Underwood. The album has 13 tracks on it. 

The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, is celebrating its centennial year with ongoing performances that recently included Fuller. Surprising the crowd, Fuller brought up Underwood to perform their latest single, "If It Was Up to Me."

More Adult & Teen Challenge properties at risk as wildfires advance

Just days after a wildfire destroyed its men’s campus in Denare Beach, Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada says more of its properties are now in jeopardy as fire conditions worsen.

The organization confirmed the complete loss of its Denare Beach campus on Tuesday, June 3. That included vital equipment such as a newly acquired truck, septic truck, and trailers—resources used to support recovery and training programs for men overcoming addiction.

Allegations emerge against former DC Talk and Newsboys singer Michael Tait

The former lead singer of a popular Christian band is facing serious allegations. 

Following a two-and-a-half-year investigation, The Roys Report (TRR) has released details dating back to 2004, including allegations of grooming and sexual assault involving Michael Tait, the former frontman of Newsboys and former member of DC Talk, and several young men.
