A Pennsylvanian family is mourning the loss of their husband and father after he threw his body over his family when shooting broke out at a Trump rally. 

At just 50 years old, Corey Comperatore from Butler, PA, died while protecting his family on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was the former fire chief of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company.

"Corey was the very best of us," said Gov. Josh Shapiro during a press conference. "May his memory be a blessing."

Christian artist, Jessica Duke, from Grande Prairie, has released a new song titled, "Home."  

Born in Langley, BC, and raised in a Reformed Church, Jessica moved to Grande Prairie about ten years ago and has been integrating into the local Baptist community. Her faith has grown significantly since her childhood, evolving from something she followed because of her parents into a deeply personal journey.  

The Manitoba Passion Play, an annual highlight at the Oak Valley Outdoor Theatre in La Riviere, MB, showcased its special 24th season this July.

A young Saskatchewan girl who spent most of her life in and out of hospital has died.

Bella Thomson who was born with three rare conditions, spent hundreds of days in the hospital and had over two dozen surgeries including a bowel transplant in August of last year.

Bella suffered from Hirschsprung disease, a bowel disorder that has necessitated several surgeries, along with immunodeficiency and cartilage-hair hypoplasia.

A woman from North Dakota recently celebrated her 106th birthday, crediting God with a long life. 

Hulda Erdman from Bismark, North Dakota, celebrated her birthday earlier this month. A local news station, FKYR-TV, asked Erdman what the secret to a long life was.

While the details are unknown, a megachurch pastor in Frisco, Texas, has been terminated after he confessed to a 'moral failure.'

Stonebriar Community Church is a non-denominational church that fired long-time pastor Tony Cammarota.

"On Sunday afternoon July 7th, Pastor Tony Cammarota confessed to church leadership of a moral failure," the church leadership posted in a statement emailed to the congregation. "He is deeply remorseful, but his sin disqualifies him from serving on our staff as a pastor."

A mother with four children has been left a widow after some neighbour men broke in and killed a Christian father in Pakistan. 

Marshall, his wife Mehdi, along with one son and three daughters live in Patiala House Race Course Kachi Abadi in Lahore, Pakistan. Marshall's father, Yaqoob Masih, shared details of the murder with the Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS). 

"Two Muslim boys, our neighbours Shani and Azam, entered our house from the roof at around 4:20 a.m. They came in with two unknown accomplices."

While many families enjoy the sunshine on summer vacations, Brandon Lake's family vacation was extra special for a different reason.

Manitoba Christian singer Jordan Janzen is releasing a new single called 'Kindness' in the midst of touring with The Newsboys. 

Janzen is the lead singer of the band The Color, while also releasing music as a solo artist. His first single was called 'You Can Let Go.'

Maali is a little girl who recently began attending Mission India’s Children’s Bible Club. Regan Miller with Mission India says, there, "She learned how to pray to Jesus. That changed everything."
