There have been numerous large group attacks on tribal Christians in India recently, including one with a mob of 500 people on New Year's Day. 

On January 1, 500 Hindu extremists gathered in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh in a village called Gorra and beckoned the Christians living in the village to come to the town square. After 15 Christians showed up, the mob attacked them. 

Brazilian Evangelical Alliance “vehemently condemns” attack on state powers

The Brazilian Evangelical Alliance has issued a statement to reject the protests that took place in Brazil on Sunday, where a group of anti-government demonstrators violently assaulted the headquarters of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidential palace.

The protesters do not recognize the validity of the October election result and called for a military intervention to oust Lula da Silva, who was elected president against Jair Bolsonaro by almost two million votes.

'That's Enough' stopped Brandon Heath from giving up on music career

During a performance that was broadcasted live, the American singer spontaneously decided to perform his newly written song, "That's Enough," which was planned to be pitched to another artist for them to sing.

Cochren & co. releases new song in anticipation of upcoming album

American Christian band, Cochren & Co. announced the release of their new album by dropping its title track, "Running Home."

On January 7, Cochren & Co. posted to social media sharing that their second album, Running Home will be released on February 3rd, and to satiate fans until then they put out its title track.

The band's sophomore project will feature 10 hope-filled songs, including already released songs "The Lows" and "Good Memories" which have received multiple playlisting features.

B.C. pastor accused of sexual charges involving children

A pastor who was servicing a Metro Vancouver church has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference against children.

Police in New Westminster, B.C., say they began an investigation after multiple reports came to them.

A police news release says the offences are alleged to have taken place between 2017 and 2021.

It says after a lengthy investigation by the department's major crime unit, three charges each of sexual assault and sexual interference have been laid against Pastor Edwin Alvarez.
